FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
If the question you have is not here, you may enter it in the form
at the bottom of the page.
Just what is a
Web Host?
A web host is a service on the internet that hosts your web site
pages. Web hosts will make sure your web site is online 24 hours a day whether or not you are online.
|
|
Why would I need
a Web Host?
If you are going to have your own web pages on the
internet, you will need a Web Host. If you only use the
internet for email, newsgroups and browsing, then you would not
need a Web Host.
|
My ISP provides Web Hosting,
why should I use your service?
Most ISPs only offer limited Web Hosting services and their costs
are not any better than a dedicated Web Host. Also, if you
ever change ISP, you will also have to change your Web Host.
You are more likely to change your ISP, than your Web Host.
|
Does your site use cookies?
Not at this time, however, sites that we host may use cookies.
|
Are cookies a bad thing?
Not really, they are only text strings placed in your computer
by a site you connect to, they cannot contain viruses, images,
or executable programs. However, there have been some abuses by
some parties with them. For much more information on this subject
go to the "cookies central"
web site.

Can I get my domain name through
you?

domain on the menu.
|
